Cold soba’s great, but when it gets cold outside, I really look forward to hot soba. I usually order hot “oroshi soba,” but today I thought I’d try something different. I got soba topped with tempura shrimp and deep-fried “mochi.” It was good, better than I expected. The deep-fried “mochi” is heavy, and it really filled me up. It was also nice to see the new English menu.
